S‌chool Supply List: Back Pack, 1.5" or 2" binder, 4 pocket folders, loose leaf notebook paper, 3 composition notebooks, 12 pack of #2 pencils, 12 pack of blue or black pens, reusable water bottle, shoes and clothing approriate for outdoors


Schedule:  students may be dropped off at 7:30 AM, and school starts at 8:00. Lunch is 11:30-12:00, and school is out at 3:00. Students should be picked up by 3:30 at the latest. On Wednesdays, we release early at 12:00 for teacher professional development, but we will provide "after school" activities starting with a study hall and evolving as we get volunteers to start clubs. STrEam is now on a Block schedule. For more information contact the school at 742-9000

Classes: All students will have math, science, social studies and language arts core courses. Additionally, students will participate in physical education and health geared toward our mission and vision (outdoor recreation, wilderness safety, backpacking, first aide, etc.) All classes will focus on an integrated, project-based approach. We will also offer other STrEaM appropriate electives such as Robotics as the schedule allows. 

Lunch: We do not provide district food service lunches. Students are expected to bring their own lunch. Emergency rations can be purchased from Mrs. Thompson, our Administrative Assistant, for a low fee.  This is for emergencies only - please do not use this option as a fall back for not coming prepared.

Technology: We have Chromebook laptops and tablets. We are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school: Students may bring laptops, tablets and smartphones, provided they follow school, classroom and district policies on responsible use. Students may not use the university's wifi- they must connect to the ASD wifi. Students should only use devices in class at the direction of the classroom teacher, and STrEaM is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items.
