Parent communication is one of our most important goals. We provide a weekly newsletter and update on our schedule and events, active social media presence and personal communication by email, phone or in person. Keeping you informed and involved is very important to us!

Phone and Connected Devices
Please help your child stay distraction-free by ensuring their phone is left at home.
If your child needs to bring a phone for after-school purposes, STrEaM requires personal devices (phones and earbuds) to be OFF and secured in LOCKED YONDR pouches that are kept inside a backpack.
You might ask your child the following to help them be successful with a phone to school:
- Do you have your assigned YONDR pouch in your backpack? (If not, remind them to get a “borrow pouch” from the front office.)
- Do you need to ask your Advisor to assign you a pouch?
- How are you doing with turning off your phone and securing it in a locked pouch every day?
We have Chromebook laptops, and much of our curriculum is accessed online using Canvas and Google Classroom.
Students may bring laptops or tablets, provided they follow school, classroom and district policies on responsible use.
Volunteers:
STrEaM does not require parents to volunteer, but it is a critical commitment we ask you to make.

If you are interested in helping with a planned event or if you have a particular passion please call the front office and we will help you get started! Fundraisers, Student Showcases, our annual I AM celebration, and Sports are some of the many opportunities we have available for volunteers. Call 742-9002
